These terms cover your use of americanschoolofai.com and the credentials, certificates and badges the American School of AI issues. Classes are sold and run by Authorized Training Providers under their own terms, including payment, refunds and dates.

Who does what

The American School of AI writes the standards and marking guides, decides who earns a credential, and issues the certificate and badge. Authorized Training Providers teach the classes. A marker who did not teach you marks your work. Providers never mark their own students and never issue credentials.

How a credential is earned

• Read the standard and the marking guide first. They are published before you pay.
• Take the live class with a provider.
• Within 14 days, hand in work built on your own material.
• A marker who did not teach you marks it against the published guide, without seeing your name or employer. The result is Not yet, Pass or Strong.
• After a Not yet, you may fix the work and hand it in once more, free.
• The school makes the final decision on every credential.

What you agree to

The work you hand in is your own. You strip out anything confidential before you hand it in. You answer questions honestly. You do not share marking material or another candidate’s work.

Your certificate and badge

After a Pass we issue a certificate and a digital badge in your name. They are valid for life, with no renewal. You may display and share them. Do not alter them, transfer them, or claim a credential you do not hold. We can withdraw a credential for cheating, for work that is not your own, or for misuse of the badge. The record on the Verify page then shows that status.

Verification

Anyone with a Certificate ID can check it on the Verify page. It shows the holder’s name, credential, issue date, validity and status.

Our content and your work

The standards, marking guides, site copy, badge art and certificate design belong to the American School of AI. You may quote them with credit and use them for your own learning. Providers use them under their authorization. The work you hand in stays yours. We keep a copy as the marking record and do not publish it.

The site

We keep this site accurate as best we can, and we provide it as is. Links to providers and other services lead to sites we do not run. We are not responsible for a provider’s class or for a service we do not run. Nothing on this page limits rights the law gives you.

Law, changes and questions

These terms follow the laws of the United States and of the state where the American School of AI is organized. When these terms change, we post the new date at the top. Questions go to support@americanschoolofai.com.
