Five credentials, one path, one standard
The American School of AI issues five credentials for people who deliver products and projects with AI. Three ways in, then two credentials that build on them. Every credential is earned the same way. You read the standard first (what you have to show, published before you pay). Next comes a live class with an authorized provider. Then a marker who did not teach you marks your own work, and you can fail. The credential is valid for 2 years, and anyone can verify it.

Certified AI Product Manager / Product Owner (AI-PMPO)
For Product Managers, Product Owners and backlog owners. One live day on your own material, then marked work in which you split a story too big for one sprint and rewrite its acceptance criteria.

Certified AI Project Manager (AI-PM)
Run status, risk and reporting with AI, and judge when it is right. One day live online, then your own status report and risk log are marked by a person who did not teach you.

Certified AI Team Facilitator (AI-TF)
For Scrum Masters and team coaches who run the retrospectives, stand-ups and impediments, coach their teams, and now have to decide where AI belongs in that work. One live day on your own material, then work you hand in from your own job, marked by a person who did not teach you.

- Runs team ceremonies and impediment write-ups with AI, and judges the output.
Certified AI Integration Manager (AI-IM)
Two days, live online, for holders of any starting credential. You redesign one real flow that crosses at least two teams, with the controls and a two-track measurement plan, and hand it in for independent marking.

Certified AI Adoption Leader (AI-AL)
Three days for people who hold Certified AI Integration Manager. You plan and run AI adoption for your own organization and hand in three marked pieces built on your own material.

How a credential is earned
Every credential is earned the same way, in four steps.
Read the published standard
Each credential's standard and marking guide are public before you enroll, so you know what the class covers and how your work will be marked before you pay anything.
Train live with an authorized provider
An Authorized Training Provider of the American School of AI teaches the class live online. It runs one day for a starting credential, two days for Certified AI Integration Manager and three days for Certified AI Adoption Leader.
Hand in your own work
Within 14 days of class you hand in work built on your own material. A marker who did not teach you reads it against the marking guide, without seeing your name or employer. It can come back marked Not yet. If it does, you fix it and hand it in again once, free.
Earn a credential anyone can check
Pass, and you get a certificate and a digital badge with a Certificate ID anyone can check. The credential is valid for 2 years.

Start in the seat you already hold today. Certified AI Team Facilitator if you are a Scrum Master or team coach. Certified AI Product Manager / Product Owner if you own a backlog or a product. Certified AI Project Manager if you run projects or delivery. Pass any one of the three and you can move on to Certified AI Integration Manager. Pass that and you can move on to Certified AI Adoption Leader.
Who issues these credentials?
The American School of AI. It writes the standard for each credential and updates it over time. An Authorized Training Provider teaches the class to that standard. A separate marker who did not teach the class marks your work. Issued by the American School of AI. Delivered by our authorized training providers.
How is a credential marked and verified?
Within 14 days of class you hand in work built on your own material. A marker who did not teach the class reads it against the marking guide, which you can read before you pay. The marker does not see your name or employer. You get your result inside 10 working days. There are three results: Not yet, Pass, Strong. The credential can be failed. If it is, you can fix your work and hand it in again once for free. Every certificate carries a Certificate ID you can check on the Verify a Credential page.
How long is a credential valid?
2 years. The credential is issued with a Certificate ID and a digital badge, and the valid-through date is printed on the certificate.
