Code of Conduct

This code applies to candidates, credential holders, instructors, markers and Authorized Training Providers.

Honest work

The work you hand in is your own, built on your own material. You may use AI to make it. You judge it. No made-up sources, numbers or results. No passing off someone else’s work as yours. No sharing of marking material or another candidate’s work.

Respect in class

Classes are live online. Treat the instructor and the other participants with courtesy. No harassment of any kind. Do not record other people without their consent. Do not bring your employer’s confidential material into the room.

Confidentiality

Strip out anything confidential before you hand work in. Markers see your work without your name or employer, and they keep it confidential.

Using your credential

Only the named holder may use a credential, and only for the credential earned. Use the name exactly as issued. Do not alter the certificate or badge. Do not imply a credential you do not hold.

Instructors, markers and providers

Teach the published agenda. Never mark your own students. Declare any conflict of interest. Keep marking notes factual. Never promise a pass. Never issue a credential; only the school does that.

If the code is broken

The work gets a Not yet result. A credential can be withdrawn, and the record on the Verify page then shows it. A provider can remove someone from a class.
