About the American School of AI

The American School of AI is a certification body. We define what AI-capable work looks like in each role, examine people against that definition, and issue a credential an employer can verify. We do not run the classes ourselves. We authorize training providers to teach them and hold them to the standard, so the credential means the same thing no matter who delivered the course.

What we do

A certification body, not a course seller

Four things sit with the school and nobody else: the standard, the assessment, the credential, and the verification behind it.

We publish the standard

Each certification has a written standard that says what a holder can actually do. We version it as the tools change, so it never drifts into theory.

We examine and issue

The assessment is the live class plus a same-day capstone. Pass it and the school issues your credential that day, with a printed Certificate ID.

We verify

Every credential is checkable online in seconds, so a hiring manager never has to take your word for it. Credentials stay valid for two years.

We authorize providers

We do not sell classes. We authorize training providers to deliver them, review how they teach, and keep them accountable to the standard.

We stay independent

The standard, the grading, and the decision to issue sit with the school, separate from any provider. That separation is what makes the credential worth something.
