Certified AI Adoption Leader
In this AI adoption certification course, you build a 90-day plan, a test set and a business case, and walk out ready to lead AI adoption.
Who it is for
What you will do
- Score AI use cases and write down why you would kill the weak ones
- Decide whether an idea can be built and whether the data is ready
- Build the safety checklist a legal team asks for
- Set up and run a network of early adopters who help their teams
- Build a scorecard that separates use from real impact
- Write and present the executive business case
The three days, module by module
This AI adoption leadership training is built around the decisions an AI adoption leader makes most often. It is not one-on-one coaching. 825 of the 1,170 taught minutes are spent working on your own material. Each module below shows its taught minutes and its hands-on minutes, so anyone can check the arithmetic.
-
1
Reading AI job postings Sort ten real job postings with the same title into three piles: apply, do not apply, ask first. 60 min
-
2
Scoring AI use cases and building the roadmap Build a form for taking in AI ideas, with named fields, and a scoring model where some things count more than others. 150 min
-
3
Can it be built, and is the data ready Take one use case and write the questions a go or no-go decision needs. 120 min
-
4
Testing AI output for a whole organization Build your test set for one task: 20 real examples, each with the answer you expect. 180 min
-
5
Safety controls a legal team can check Build the safety checklist a legal team asks for, in six parts, for one use case: where the data may and may not go, how prompts and outputs are logged, who and what gets access (AI agents get only the access they need), where a person checks the work, the kill switch, and which named standard the vendor is checked against. 150 min
-
6
Building a network of early adopters Design a network of early adopters for one organization, people who help their own teams use AI well. 150 min
-
7
Measuring adoption with real numbers Build a scorecard with two tracks: one for whether people are using AI, one for whether the business is better off. 120 min
-
8
Writing and presenting the business case Map the five people your case has to get past, what each one loses if it is funded, and the one sentence that answers that loss. 120 min
-
9
Your 90-day plan and portfolio Put the 90-day adoption plan together in the room from what you built in Modules 2 to 8: named owners; a pilot card in the second of the plan's three 30-day windows, whose stop number is the day-60 checkpoint; dated stop conditions; the safety items you sent on to legal, security or compliance, listed as things the plan depends on; an honest section on people, money and tools, with the sponsor named; and the roadmap page. 120 min

What you leave with
What you hold when you pass
Who is the AI Adoption Leader certification for?
This certification is for people who have passed Certified AI Integration Manager and want to run AI adoption for a whole organization. Most people who reach it came in as project, delivery, program or portfolio managers, Scrum Masters, agile coaches, Product Managers or Product Owners.
Do I need a PMP, CSM or SAFe® credential to enroll?
No. The only requirement is a pass in Certified AI Integration Manager. A PMP, CSM or SAFe® credential is not needed.
Who issues the credential, and who teaches the class?
The credential is issued by the American School of AI, and the classes are run by our authorized training providers.
How is it marked?
After the class, you hand in three pieces: a 90-day adoption plan, a test set and an executive business case you present live. Each piece comes in six parts. To keep the marking fair, it is read by someone who didn’t teach you and who never sees your name or employer. They score each piece on four published checks, and each check gets Not yet, Pass or Strong. All three pieces must pass.
What happens if I do not pass?
You get one free resubmission. If a piece comes back Not yet, the marker names the check you missed and writes the reason, and you resubmit within 14 days of the result. If you disagree with a result, you can appeal, and a second marker reviews the piece within 10 working days.
Is attending the class enough to earn the AI Adoption Leader certification?
No. Attendance alone doesn’t earn the credential, your own work does. You hand it in within 14 days of the last day of class, and it comes back within 10 working days.
How long is the AI adoption certification valid?
It is valid for 2 years. The valid-through date is printed on your certificate, and anyone can check it on the Verify a Credential page with your Certificate ID.
