Certified AI Team Facilitator
Run your ceremonies with AI and know when the output is good enough to use.
Who it is for
What you will do
- Design retrospectives and read patterns across past ones
- Prepare stand-ups and pull the real blockers out of the noise
- Write impediments so they actually get escalated
- Read team health from data you already have
- Judge when an AI draft is ready and when it is not
The day, module by module
This class is built around the AI tasks a Scrum Master or team coach runs most. It is not one-on-one coaching. Every module ends with something you made from your own work. 300 of the day's 390 minutes are hands-on, on your own material.
-
1
Where AI goes and where it must not You go through your own last two weeks and build a table of the tasks in three groups: three tasks AI may draft, three it may help with as long as a person checks, and three it must never touch. 45 min
-
2
Prompt patterns as a working library You build six prompts you can use again in your own role. 60 min
-
3
Weak versus strong: reading AI output like an editor You work through six pairs of real AI output. 75 min
-
4
Building your test set You pick one task you will hand to AI and choose ten real examples. 90 min
-
5
The role brief You strip anything confidential out of your own impediment log and retrospective notes, then start the work you will hand in for this credential: three impediments rewritten so they get escalated, and your next retrospective designed from patterns across your last three. 75 min

- 4 Your credential, for life A printed Certificate ID and a digital badge. No renewal fee.
What the marker looks for
Four things the marker checks. Each gets one of three results: Not yet, Pass, Strong. The full marking guide opens below.
What you leave with
What you hold when you pass
Who is the Certified AI Team Facilitator for?
Scrum Masters and team coaches who already run retrospectives, stand-ups and impediments for a team. There is no prerequisite.
Who issues the credential, and who teaches the class?
The American School of AI writes the standard, has every hand-in marked by a person who did not teach the class, and issues the credential with a printed Certificate ID. It does not run classes.
How is it marked?
After class you hand in your work, built on your own material: three impediments rewritten so they get escalated, and a retrospective designed from patterns across your last three. It uses the six-part template described above.
What if I do not pass?
Your work is due 14 days after the class and comes back marked inside 10 working days. If any of the four checks lands in Not yet, you get written feedback and one free chance to hand it in again inside 14 days of the mark.
How long is the credential valid?
For life. There is no renewal fee.
