AI Powered Product Manager / Product Owner (AI-PMPO)

A one-day, eight-hour live class for product managers and product owners building and shipping AI-native products. Across nine modules you'll learn discovery, PRD writing, prioritization, experimentation, stakeholder communication, and roadmap planning powered by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot. Issued by the American School of AI and delivered by our authorized training providers. You leave the same day with a shareable, verifiable badge.

What you'll learn

  • Write your team's AI Usage Rules and decide where AI drafts and where you coach
  • Turn three sprints of velocity and 6 to 8 backlog items into two Sprint Goal options and a capacity-aware split that flags over-commit
  • Turn a messy standup transcript into a neutral digest: today's focus, a blockers table, and follow-ups with owners, ready for Slack or Confluence
  • Draft a Sprint Review one-pager from release snippets: outcomes delivered, demo script, three risks, three asks, what's next
  • Cluster retro themes with supporting quotes, gauge team morale, and draft three experiments with owners and dates
  • Let AI write the metrics narrative: three evidence-linked hypotheses from throughput, cycle time, WIP and failure rate
  • Predict next sprint's top impediments ranked by impact × likelihood, each with a mitigation, owner and check-date
  • Keep a living How-it-Works page and attach a Privacy & Bias checklist to every AI artifact that leaves the team

The Scrum Master role is being rewritten, one Monday at a time

AI isn't replacing Scrum Masters. It's raising the bar on facilitation, impediment removal and delivery insight. The ones ahead of the curve aren't reading about it. They've wired it into Monday morning.

The AI-Powered Scrum Master (AI-SM) Certification is a one-day, eight-hour live course for Scrum Masters running AI-augmented delivery. Eight lessons plus a capstone cover role and mindset, planning and backlog refinement, daily Scrum, sprint review, retrospective, metrics, predictive impediments, and ethics, using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Productboard, and Perplexity.

The class is model-agnostic and workspace-native. You won't walk out locked to one vendor. You'll walk out knowing which tool to pull for which job. Free tiers of ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are enough for every lab; paid tiers add a richer experience but are never required.

Certifications are issued by the American School of AI; training is delivered by our authorized training providers. You leave with a 7-page capstone packet and a same-day badge.

Eight lessons. One capstone. Each one ships something.

Live, instructor-led. Every lesson ends with a copy-ready prompt, a sample output and a one-page artifact you keep. No slides you'll never open again.

1. Role & Mindset with AI

What changes for a Scrum Master today: AI drafts the repetitive parts in a uniform format; you spend your time on facilitation, alignment and coaching. Write your team's AI Usage Rules. You leave with: a one-page AI Usage Rules doc for your team.

2. Planning & Backlog Refinement

From three sprints of velocity plus 6 to 8 backlog items, produce two Sprint Goal options and a capacity-aware split that flags over-commit and adds a small stretch. You leave with: a Planning Brief and two Sprint Goal options.

3. Daily Scrum

Paste a messy standup transcript, get back a neutral digest: today's focus, blockers table, follow-ups with owners, ready to drop into Slack or Confluence. You leave with: a Standup Digest template you'll use tomorrow.

4. Sprint Review

From release snippets, draft a one-pager: outcomes delivered, demo script, three risks, three asks, what's next. Stakeholders read it in two minutes. You leave with: a Sprint Review one-pager template.

5. Retrospective

Across retro notes and sprint metrics, cluster five themes with supporting quotes, gauge team morale, and draft three experiments with owners and dates. You leave with: a Retro Insights pack and three experiments.

6. Metrics that Explain "Why"

Throughput, cycle time, WIP, failure rate: AI writes the narrative. Three hypotheses for what changed, each linked to evidence, each with a dated experiment. You leave with: a Sprint Health Brief with evidence-backed hypotheses.

7. Predictive Impediments

Be a fire-marshal, not a firefighter. From workflow history, predict next sprint's top impediments ranked by impact × likelihood, with mitigation, owner and check-date. You leave with: an Impediment Watchlist your team will trust.

8. Knowledge & Ethics

Turn scattered notes into a living How-it-Works page; attach a Privacy & Bias checklist to every AI artifact that leaves the team. Short, searchable, reviewed. You leave with: a How-it-Works page plus a Privacy/Bias checklist.

9. Capstone: your 7-page packet

Post-class, you assemble one page each of the day's artifacts: Planning Brief, Standup Digest, Impediment Watchlist, Review one-pager, Retro Insights, Sprint Health Brief, How-it-Works plus checklist. You leave with: a finished 7-page capstone and your AI-SM badge.

What learners are doing differently on Monday

Hours back on the work that drains your week

Sprint planning notes, daily-standup summaries, retro synthesis, impediment logs: the ceremony tax drops from hours to minutes, and the output is sharper.

71% of leaders would pick AI skills over years of experience

In the Microsoft Work Trend Index, 71% of leaders say they would rather hire a less experienced candidate with AI skills than a more experienced one without. For senior Scrum Master and Agile Coach roles, AI fluency is the tiebreaker.

Contact Us
1. Who is the AI-PMPO certification for?

Product managers, product owners, associate PMs, product leads, and aspiring product people. No prior AI experience required.

2. Who issues the AI-PMPO certification?

This credential is issued by the American School of AI. Training is delivered by our authorized training providers. Every certificate carries a printed Certificate ID.

3. What is the format?

One live day, eight hours, nine modules. Weekend and weekday sittings across time zones. Recorded and yours to keep.

4. How is this different from a generic AI course?

A generic course ends with a completion certificate from whoever taught it. No. Free tiers of ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini are enough for every lab. Paid tiers give a richer experience but are optional.

6. What do I take home?

Every module ends with a prompt pack, a template set, and a real artifact you keep, from a market brief to a launch plan. You also finish the capstone project the same day. Session recordings are yours to keep as well.

7. How do employers verify it?

Anyone can look up a credential by its Certificate ID on the Verify a Credential page. The digital badge is shareable and verifiable the same way.

8. How long is it valid?

The AI-PMPO credential is valid for two years from the issue date printed on your certificate. For questions about what comes after that window, contact the training provider that ran your class.

9. Do you offer group or enterprise pricing?

Classes are delivered by Authorized Training Providers, and group arrangements run through them. Contact your Authorized Training Provider about team scheduling and pricing.

10. What if the class isn't right for me?

Enrollment, scheduling, and any change requests are handled by the training provider that runs your class. Contact them directly and they will walk you through your options.
